We are currently seeking a Technical Operations Analyst to enhance our activities at a key test site.

The selected candidate will serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM) for various projects, ultimately taking on the primary CAM responsibilities for the F-16 program.


The role involves overseeing cost, schedule, and technical performance throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.

The candidate will utilize Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and CAM methodologies, including program baselining, variance analysis, Estimate to Complete (ETC) updates, and regular status reporting.

Proficiency in data analysis and a keen attention to detail are essential.

The candidate will assist in developing cost estimates and related documentation, such as Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and requests for proposals (RFPs) for upcoming initiatives.

Additionally, the candidate will support special projects and initiatives as necessary, including those related to remote flight test deployments.

This position requires effective collaboration with diverse teams and organizations across multiple locations, including various Lockheed Martin business units, international clients, suppliers, and program offices.

Strong communication skills and persistence are crucial for success in this role. Some travel may be required (less than 20%).

Previous experience as a CAM is essential, and familiarity with flight test operations is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage control accounts for multiple contracts at the test site.
2. Assist in estimating and proposal development for future work.
3. Provide support and backup for other flight test CAMs as needed.
4. Engage in special projects and initiatives as assigned.

A level 4 employee Typically has years of professional experience.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills

Control Account Manager (CAM) experience, including labor, material, and interdivisional work transfer agreements (IWTAs)

  • Mastery of EVMS principles and their application
  • Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Aero EVMS processes and tools such as SAP, ADAR, and Tableau or equivalent industry tools
  • Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Aero accounting policies and procedures, or government/aerospace industry accounting standards
  • Experience in developing cost estimates, Bases of Estimate (BOEs), and Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Understanding of US and International contracts
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint
