Financial Operations Manager Role

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Financial Operations Manager to become a vital part of our organization. This position is ideal for a talented individual eager to make a significant impact within a thriving construction management firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal controls to protect company assets.
  • Facilitate audits and supply necessary documentation to auditors.
  • Oversee budgetary goals and perform variance analysis.
  • Support various accounting functions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to legal standards and regulations.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead the finance team.
  • Enhance professional expertise through continuous education and networking.

Essential Duties:

  • Maintain the Chart of Accounts across all entities.
  • Analyze and review monthly financial reports.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Manage Accounts Payable operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Sales & Use Tax obligations.
  • Work closely with project management on Accounts Receivable matters.
  • Evaluate job cost reports for accuracy.
  • Process payroll transfers on a weekly basis.
  • Assist with tax compliance and cash flow management.
  • Participate in audits as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in accounting or finance.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within the construction sector.
  • Proficient in maintaining accounting practices and generating financial statements.
  • Strong communication abilities.
