Key Responsibilities- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that downtime is minimized.
- Maintenance Control: Monitor and control maintenance activities to ensure that they are completed on time and within budget.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, to ensure that maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve maintenance-related problems in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Communication: Communicate with production, engineering, and other support teams to ensure that maintenance activities are coordinated and that any issues are addressed promptly.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular maintenance reports to management to ensure that maintenance activities are properly documented and that any issues are addressed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or maintenance management.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance planning and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with maintenance management software and systems, including Maximo.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. A high level of physical fitness is required, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
