Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, lead, organize, and direct shop floor operations related to production, shipping/receiving, maintenance, and grounds.
  • Oversee all production, product, and process improvements, safety, quality, employee relations, and customer service.
  • Liaise with sales and quality teams for product-related issues and improvements.
  • Develop and implement programs for safety, employment, labor relations, management training, manpower planning, technical expertise, and customer relations.
  • Ensure production orders are completed on schedule, per budget, and at quality levels developed by management.
  • Manage reporting personnel in manufacturing processes, J.I.T., quality assurance, employee relations, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and train personnel in manufacturing processes, J.I.T., quality assurance, employee relations, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and maintain a quality system to ensure metrics are met and 100% on-time delivery.
  • Work closely with key customers to coordinate quality standards and problem resolution.
  • Understand annual budgets, goals, and objectives and implement programs for achievement.
  • Control costs in assigned areas and provide constant interaction with external customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in production, production control, engineering, and supervision.
  • Thorough knowledge of product offerings and product/process capabilities.
  • Fundamental understanding and experience with lean manufacturing and ERP/Scheduling knowledge and experience.
