Position Overview

The Senior Corporate Accountant will be primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements at the corporate level. This includes applying US GAAP for various processes, such as ASC 842 Leases, ASC 718 Stock Compensation, and ASC 470 Debt. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Close Process
    • Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for accounts including debt, intangible assets, capitalized software, and share-based compensation.
    • Perform financial statement analysis and identify non-routine transactions.
    • Ensure proper accounting treatment and documentation of non-routine transactions.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Support compliance-related matters, including annual financial statement audits.
    • Develop and maintain internal accounting controls, systems, and procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reports.
  • Process Improvement
    • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to make accounting processes more accurate and efficient.
    • Document policies, procedures, and workflows for areas of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA required.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, Big 4 and SaaS industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite or similar accounting systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
