About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kroger Supply Chain. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution centers' buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and dock door systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair minor issues with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and dock door systems, as well as perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory of spare parts, special need items, and tools to ensure that maintenance operations run smoothly.
  • Operate computers and maintenance diagnostics equipment, including analog and digital multi-meters, pyrometers, photo-tachometer, etc., to diagnose failures and determine parts and material requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and principles to ensure that maintenance operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by ensuring that all equipment, workstations, and facilities are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent is required.
  • Training in facility maintenance, including carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanics, is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
