Network Analyst Job Description

Vail Resorts is seeking a skilled Network Analyst to join our IT team. As a Network Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive attitude while solving IT challenges and ensuring the smooth operation of our network systems.
  • Lead and execute changes that improve support and reliability for systems across a broad geographical area.
  • Aid in developing and executing small to medium-sized projects with high visibility.
  • Receive training to provide advanced support and administration of a variety of specialized network systems.
  • Apply standard principles, concepts, and techniques toward the identification and resolution of hardware problems.
  • Strive for continual improvement and growth by actively participating in company and IT-specific training.
  • Create and maintain documentation detailing network design & configuration.
  • Suggest and support implementation of new ideas for improving network architecture, standards, and operations.

Requirements:

  • Positive, enthusiastic, and friendly.
  • Solution-oriented with a desire to learn new skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the support needs within an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to move 50 lbs (with assistance if needed).
  • Should be able to work a schedule that can include weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level, or desire to learn.
  • Valid US driver's license.
