Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient care for an assigned nursing unit.
  • Ensure that patient care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Genesis HealthCare and in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing units.
  • Manage human resources in assigned units, including limiting the use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orienting staff, assessing work performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
