Overview:

This role entails overseeing, mentoring, and guiding personnel within the Substation Department. The individual will also engage in engineering tasks associated with substations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate development discussions.
  • Work alongside Human Resources to create and monitor performance improvement plans.

  • Encourage a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture through effective team-building and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Provide leadership through clear communication and empowerment of team members.
  • Engage with staff to understand their professional aspirations and provide guidance.

  • Interpret and communicate organizational policies and objectives to staff.
  • Oversee timekeeping and ensure accurate billing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related discipline from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to apply extensive knowledge to diverse assignments.
  • Professional Engineering licensure is preferred.
  • Previous leadership or management experience is advantageous.
  • Consulting experience is a plus.
