Job Title: Chef Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional food and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and manage kitchen personnel to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities to meet customer expectations
  • Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food to maintain inventory levels
  • Select and develop recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation
  • Establish presentation techniques and quality standards for all menu items
  • Plan and price menus to meet customer demand and budget requirements
  • Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure food safety
  • Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction and demonstrations as needed
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related position
  • 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
  • Experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems
  • Oral, reading, and written communication skills
