Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself, colleagues, and customers.
Assist customers by guiding them to products and offering recommendations based on product knowledge.
Perform operational tasks, including documentation and sales reporting related to store operations.
Contribute to the overall visual merchandising and presentation within the store, including restocking and organizing merchandise.
Record each transaction by creating or updating customer profiles.
Address customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and billing.
Support store management in enhancing sales and profitability by focusing on key business strategies, store presentation, marketing execution, inventory management, customer service, loss prevention, risk management, and daily operational cost control.
Assist customers with loading and unloading purchases into their vehicles.
Gain product knowledge through various resources, whether online, in-store, or through travel.
Operate cash registers and process payments via checks, cash, and credit cards.
Organize the warehouse based on incoming and outgoing inventory, communicate inventory needs to supervisors, and participate in physical inventory counts.
Understand and apply knowledge regarding tax-exempt requirements, including gathering necessary documentation.
Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
Capability to lift and/or carry heavy items, not exceeding 50 pounds.
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
Ability to work in various weather conditions, including cold, heat, wind, and rain.
Strong Organizational and Time-Management Skills.
Excellent Communication Skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Previous Experience in Agriculture.
