Job Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care in post-acute care facilities
  • Keep track of care options and outcomes with other medical staff
  • Develop care plans with residents and medical staff
  • Properly set up and monitor medical equipment
  • Ensure residents receive appropriate treatments and medications
  • Draw bodily fluids for lab evaluation
  • Review best care options with residents and family members
  • Maintain staff compliance with facility policies and nursing standards
  • Document resident histories and interventions accurately
  • Provide training and supervision to nurses and support staff
  • Assist with incident investigations
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Connecticut state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Graduation from an approved nursing program
  • At least 1 year of experience (RN or similar role)
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
