Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Assistant at APL Logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain inventory control and track shipments using computer systems to ensure efficient and effective logistics management.
  • Communicate with carriers and vendors to schedule pickups and deliveries, and resolve any shipping or receiving discrepancies.
  • Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, and ensure that all shipments meet company standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in shipping and receiving, inventory control, or related field.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
