Aerospace Propulsion Engineer Job Description

Nammos Defense Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Aerospace Propulsion Engineer to support our Advanced Propulsion (AP) programs at our Mesa facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the AP program team, ensuring the successful execution of program tasking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive project progress.
  • Develop and maintain detailed IRAD plans, supporting continuous improvement projects and process enhancements.
  • Participate in Change Review Board meetings, preparing and presenting TDP process changes.
  • Support Product-Specific and Standard Process Hazards Analyses to ensure a safe operating environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • 5-12 years of engineering experience, with a preference for Aerospace/Defense industry experience.
  • Knowledge of closed form and finite element analysis, solid modeling, and detail drawing creation.
  • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain approval through ATF to handle Nammo products and information.
