Auto Parts Inventory Specialist

Parks Chevrolet Richmond is seeking an exceptional Automotive Parts Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a customer service-focused individual who is looking for a new challenge and wants to be part of a great team.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000, based on location and industry standards.
About the RoleWe are searching for a detail-oriented professional with parts counter experience to manage incoming and outgoing parts inventory. The ideal candidate will utilize their technical skills to source the best prices for parts, maintain accurate files and records, and provide excellent customer service.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with a 5-day workweek. Responsibilities- Track all incoming and outgoing parts inventory
- Issue parts and accessories to mechanics from the inventory storage area
- Utilize the phone and internet to source the best prices for parts
- Maintain accurate customer back order file and master parts price book
- Receive original and duplicate copies of repair orders and place in order file
- Parts counter experience required; GM experience preferred
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated, good work ethic, and a team player
- CDK/ADP experience required
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
