Strategic Inventory Coordinator

As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal management of our inventory levels. You will be responsible for analyzing demand patterns, managing stock levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
Main Responsibilities- Demand Analysis: Utilize historical sales data and market trends to accurately forecast demand for each SKU.
- Inventory Optimization: Develop and execute inventory plans, including setting optimal stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock quantities.
- Purchase Order Management: Place and manage purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective procurement.
- Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align inventory plans with business objectives and ensure smooth supply chain execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain management, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, etc.).
- Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
