Lead Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our team at Community Concepts, Inc.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-quality preschool classroom team, planning activities and tailoring curriculum to meet children's social, emotional, physical, literacy, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities- Classroom Leadership: Lead a high-quality preschool classroom team and ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Curriculum Development: Plan and implement activities and tailor curriculum to meet children's individual needs and promote their social, emotional, physical, literacy, and cognitive development.
- Family Engagement: Communicate with and support families in meeting their children's and families' needs.
- Compliance and Quality: Work with management to maintain Head Start Performance Standards and Licensing requirements.
- Education: Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of supervisory experience preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in early care and education preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to lead and motivate others, ability to function autonomously and as part of a team, considerable stamina to regularly lift, bend, carry, and perform other high-energy activities, competency with Microsoft Office, current or willing to obtain Ed. Tech. II Certification, ability to obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
