Compliance Quality Assurance Senior Manager Job Description:
The Compliance Quality Assurance Senior Manager is responsible for leading the management and execution of compliance-related testing activities within the Independent Risk Review and Assessment (IRRA) second-line organization.
This role will focus on evaluating consumer customer experiences with an eye towards mitigating UDAAP (Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices) risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business lines and other Risk, Compliance, and Audit Professionals to create, implement, maintain, review, and oversee an effective risk management framework.
- Manage a team of Testing Analysts that execute projects and/or activities confirming compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Identify control and process weaknesses through testing activities and propose solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors.
- Communicate testing results effectively, including well-written draft reports, and respond to and/or escalate significant risks as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Typically more than 12 years of applicable experience.
- Considerable understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business.
- Strong leadership and management skills pertaining to processes, projects, and people, with considerable people leader experience.
