Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at the Mass General Outpatient Surgical Center in Waltham. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, assisting with the peri-operative care of patients, and supporting the surgical team.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
- Assist with the peri-operative care of patients, including preparing patients for surgery and providing post-operative care.
- Support the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses, to ensure a smooth and successful surgical experience.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- 4 years' experience as Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Committee and leadership experience preferred.
