Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Execution: Oversee the development, delivery, and execution of proposals and contracts for clients, ensuring seamless event experiences and adherence to ASM Global venue policies and procedures.
  • Menu Planning and Inventory Management: Strategically plan and develop menus, menu prices, inventory control, and point-of-sale systems to drive revenue growth and enhance guest experiences.
  • Client Communication and Relationship Building: Communicate effectively with clients to ensure timely and accurate execution of event details, including floor plan submissions, room specifications, and insurance requirements.
  • Staff Management and Training: Supervise and coordinate food and beverage staff, including temporary labor workforce, to ensure efficient event operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage event revenue, expenses, and inventory levels to ensure profitability and adherence to ASM Global financial policies.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Inspect equipment and facilities to ensure all food and beverage areas are fully operational and meet ASM Global standards.
  • Point-of-Sale System Management: Plan, implement, and operate an integrated point-of-sale system, processing cash and credit card sales, and generating reports to inform business decisions.
  • Digital Content Creation: Design and implement digital content for venue display systems, including point-of-sale menu boards, meeting room display monitors, and concession stand sponsor activations.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Demonstrate supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff, as well as addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, with significant related experience in food and beverage management, catering, concessions, and inventory control.
  • Skills and Certifications: Serv-Safe Manager certification required, with proficiency in Windows, MS Office, Adobe, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk, stand, and maneuver throughout the venue, with occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds.
