Surgical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Seaside Hospital. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting the surgical team during procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the surgeon and surgical team during procedures by providing the necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain proper sterile technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Work closely with the surgical team to optimize positive surgical outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing surgery.
- Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by the CAAHEP or ABHES and holds an active certification by the NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT.
- Completion of a training program in a branch of the armed forces or in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corp and who completed 16 hours of continuing education every two years.
- "Grandfathered" based on work experience in an ASC, hospital, or federal government agency between January 1, 2014 through January 1, 2017 only and who complete 16 hours of continuing education every two years.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
