About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Seaside Hospital. As a key member of the surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgeon and surgical team during procedures by providing necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment.
  • Maintain proper sterile technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Work closely with the surgical team to provide direct patient care and optimize positive surgical outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by the CAAHEP or ABHES, or completion of a training program in a branch of the armed forces or in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corp.
  • Active certification by the NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
