Comprehensive Eye Exam Specialist

At MRG Exams, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optometrist to join our team as an independent contractor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams on United States Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process.
CompensationWe offer a competitive daily rate of $450-$600 per day, paid on a 1099 basis. This role is ideal for professionals who value flexibility and autonomy in their work.
About the RoleAs an Optometrist with MRG Exams, you will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through our secure Web Portal and performing comprehensive eye exams on each veteran. You will then complete forms through the Web Portal, which must be submitted within 24 hours after the exam.
Requirements- You must hold a current license as an Optometrist in the state where exams are performed.
- You must be able to perform Visual Field Testing (VFT).

Required Skills- An interest in performing comprehensive eye exam assessments rather than traditional patient care and treatment.
- The ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete forms and form medical opinions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
