The estimated salary for this role is $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

A Perinatologist at St. Luke's University Health Network plays a critical role in managing high-risk pregnancies and providing expert care for mothers and their unborn babies. This position requires extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as proficiency in diagnosing and monitoring conditions such as multiple births, preterm births, gestational diabetes, preterm labor, and high blood pressure.

  • Provide prenatal counseling, education, and care for pregnant women
  • Diagnose and monitor conditions such as multiple births, preterm births, gestational diabetes, preterm labor, and high blood pressure
  • Perform fetal interventions when necessary
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Perform diagnostic tests, fetal ultrasound studies, and interpret results
  • Counsel patients and their families on healthcare options and potential risks
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Participate in departmental and divisional conferences, committees, and quality improvement process. Along with participate in research projects to improve patient outcomes
  • Assist with the teaching of medical students and residents
  • Other duties may be assigned
