In the role of Configuration Management Analyst, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and uniformity of our software and hardware configurations. You will work alongside a team of experts, utilizing advanced technologies to assist our clients in achieving their objectives.

  • Support the selection and assessment of technologies for program development
  • Oversee hardware and software configuration items along with associated documentation
  • Provide technical guidance in addressing configuration management challenges
  • Establish and execute configuration management procedures aligned with industry best practices
  • Administer configuration management databases and repositories
  • Promptly identify and rectify configuration discrepancies
  • Monitor and improve configuration management workflows
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with software development teams on version control
  • Engage in client meetings, offering technical insights

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with industry or U.S. Government configuration management practices
  • Understanding of tools necessary for effective configuration management
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Capability to thrive in diverse team settings
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Siemens TeamCenter and Atlassian JIRA
  • Possession of an active government security clearance
  • Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Programming knowledge in languages such as C, C++, Python, or Perl

This position requires on-site work in San Diego, CA.
