About the Role

At Apple, we're committed to innovation and excellence. As a Safari Configuration Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the ability for organizations to manage and configure Safari across their devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expand the features manageable via MDM platforms in a modern, scalable, and reliable way.
  • Bring management and configuration capabilities to new and existing Safari features.
  • Collaborate with partner teams in education and enterprise to prioritize and scope new configuration capabilities.
  • Ensure user privacy and security are top priorities.
Requirements
  • Imaginative and self-motivated individual with a passion for craftsmanship and quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detailed understanding of at least one of: Swift, Objective-C, C++, or C.
  • Strong object-oriented programming experience.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
  • BS in Computer Science or related field, preferred, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Python.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management.
  • Familiarity with development on iOS and macOS.
