Position Summary: As a Production Supervisor at MS Aerospace, you will spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing all manufacturing processes. This role encompasses overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to policies, and enhancing productivity, playing a crucial role in our organizational success.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily operations to achieve optimal performance
- Improve production efficiency and adaptability while minimizing costs
- Guarantee product quality, timely delivery, and effective resource management
- Execute strategies that align with company objectives and initiatives
- Monitor operations, resolve issues, and foster a positive work environment
- Enhance productivity, safety, and performance metrics through efficient systems
- Stay informed on the latest practices in production management
Skills:
- Demonstrated experience as a Production Supervisor with robust leadership capabilities
- Understanding of business principles, equipment, safety, and quality processes
- Aptitude for driving accountability, team cohesion, and decision-making
- Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in computer skills and strategic planning
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in team leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of leadership experience or equivalent
- Experience in tool die making and machine shop operations
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday with on-call responsibilities and weekend availability
Work Location: One location
Position Type: Full-time, 8 hours a day with potential for overtime as required
