Work collaboratively with various teams to gather business requirements and convert them into effective cloud architecture solutions.

Automation and Configuration Management:

Create and sustain automation scripts with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI for the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources.

Adopt Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices to guarantee consistency and repeatability in deployments.

Security and Compliance:

Establish and uphold security best practices for AWS environments, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security configurations.

Conduct regular security evaluations and audits to ensure adherence to industry standards and internal policies.

Networking:

Design and configure VPCs, subnets, route tables, and security groups to create secure and efficient network architectures.

Implement and manage connectivity options such as VPNs.

Serverless Computing:

Develop serverless applications utilizing AWS Lambda and other serverless computing services.

Load Balancing and High Availability:

Configure and manage Elastic Load Balancers (ELBs/ALBs) to distribute incoming traffic and ensure high availability of applications.

Implement fault-tolerant architectures to enhance system reliability.

Data Management:

Establish and manage RDS instances for relational database solutions.

Implement data storage solutions using Amazon S3, ensuring data durability, availability, and security.

Familiarity with SQL Server is advantageous.

Knowledge of SSIS and SSRS is beneficial.

Orchestration with Elastic Beanstalk and IIS:

Utilize AWS Elastic Beanstalk for streamlined deployment and management of applications, including those based on IIS.

Manage and optimize resource orchestration to ensure seamless scaling and efficient application deployment.

Azure DevOps CI/CD:

Establish CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for building, testing, and deploying .NET applications.

Integrate and automate deployment workflows for .NET applications utilizing SQL Server.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

Set up monitoring and alerting systems with AWS CloudWatch for proactive resource management.

Diagnose and resolve performance issues, outages, and other infrastructure-related challenges.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or in a similar capacity.

Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, RDS, VPC, ELB, Lambda, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, and more.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes.

Solid understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and serverless computing.

Experience with installing and configuring .NET applications that utilize SQL Server.

AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
