**About the Role**

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Senior Solution Architect, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge systems that enable our mission to make space travel accessible and affordable.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions that drive efficiency and growth.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based systems that meet the needs of our diverse business domains.
  • Develop and maintain reference architectures and design patterns to accelerate new system development and deployment.
  • Work closely with technical leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our systems.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on cloud-native, scalable, and distributed systems.
  • Proven track record of making architectural decisions and supporting evolving customer needs.
  • Demonstrable experience with microservices-based solution design, delivery, and support.
  • Experience working in highly secured and interconnected environments, with a strong understanding of SaaS, IaaS, and On-Prem software solutions.
  • Ability to deliver incremental and individually valuable steps toward a coherent, scalable architecture.

**Nice to Have**

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Aerospace, or a related field.
  • Manufacturing and/or Aerospace industry experience.
  • Safety Critical Systems design/development experience.
  • Experience with sophisticated Manufacturing and Testing Operations.
  • SysML/UML Modeling experience, Unified Architecture Frameworks, and C4 diagramming techniques.
