TK Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Amite City, Louisiana.
Job Summary:We are a correctional healthcare provider with a regional focus on our clinics in multiple states. Our team oversees the day-to-day healthcare operations in facilities with inmate populations ranging from 25 to nearly 2,800 inmates. As an LPN, you will be responsible for rendering nursing care in assigned areas, according to individual client needs, and under the direction/delegation of the registered nurse.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to inmates in a correctional setting
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
- Participate in health education and promotion activities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of healthcare policies and procedures
- Valid, unrestricted LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to pass a background check
