Job SummaryThe Maintenance Technician III is a critical role within our facilities team, responsible for ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of our facility systems and equipment. This includes refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, electrical distribution, and safety systems. The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinate with internal and external resources to maintain efficient system operation.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair a wide range of equipment, including refrigeration systems, HVAC units, boilers, electrical distribution equipment, and safety systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Participate in emergency response and contribute to the facility's overall operational excellence.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- State of New Jersey licenses for hazardous refrigeration and high-pressure steam systems are required.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Knowledge of equipment setup, functions, operating procedures, and preventative maintenance techniques is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
The Maintenance Technician III will work a 12-hour shift, from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, to ensure continuous system operation and maintenance.
