Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electronic systems and components for use within equipment or machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop electronic systems and components to meet specific requirements and specifications.
  • Support other engineers in the development and testing of electronic systems and components.
  • Apply knowledge of electronic industry standards and best practices to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems and components into larger systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to support design and development activities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics design and development, with a focus on complex printed circuit boards.
  • Experience with design and layout of multi-layered, high-density printed circuit boards.
  • Knowledge of electronic industry standards and best practices, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and UL Safety standards.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with technical writing and documentation.
  • Experience with software development in high and low-level programming languages.
  • Experience with VHDL or Verilog hardware description language.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work Model

If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you'll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility. If this position is listed as onsite, you'll work with colleagues and clients in person, as needed for the specific role.
