Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As an Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for conducting the assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment. You will perform tasks such as operating mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling. You will also apply industry and organizational knowledge to programs and projects, leveraging standard policies, procedures, and practical application of the general and technical aspects of the job to complete assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct the assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment
  • Operate mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling
  • Apply industry and organizational knowledge to programs and projects
  • Leverage standard policies, procedures, and practical application of the general and technical aspects of the job to complete assignments
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as an electrical technician
  • Experience with electronic assembly fabrication, including wiring harnesses, electronic circuit boards, and integration of electronic components
  • Knowledge of electronic component fabrication and assembly
  • Ability to analyze engineering drawings to determine the electronic fabrication requirements and layout of electronic assemblies
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with building multi-level circuit boards
  • Knowledge of the design of electronic systems and components
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with client engineers
  • J-STD or IPC 610/620 certification

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD).
