Position Summary

The Community Lifestyle Manager plays a crucial role in curating programs and events that are engaging and enjoyable for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Coordination:
    - Act as the representative for all internal events at the clubhouse, ensuring a professional and consistent image of the facility. Monitor external vendors during events and collaborate with the Event and Catering Directors to plan and promote activities that resonate with community interests.

    - Support daily clubhouse operations, assisting with tasks such as room setup, breakdown, and audio/visual requirements as needed. Teamwork is essential, and collaboration across departments is encouraged.

  • Social Media Strategy:
    - Create and implement social media initiatives to boost engagement and visibility.

    - Manage community content on platforms like Facebook to keep residents informed and involved.

  • Internal Marketing Management:
    - Oversee the creation of internal marketing materials, including digital signage, flyers, and promotional content to enhance event visibility.

    - Coordinate weekly updates with the culinary team to share specials and menus through various channels.

    - Ensure all internal communications align with the facility's branding and messaging.

    - Assist in maintaining the website, ensuring all information is current and accurately reflects programming changes.

  • Monthly Communication:
    - Design and distribute the monthly newsletter, providing residents with essential updates on events and community news. Ensure timely publication and distribution of all materials.

    - Create and share newsletters that highlight key updates and upcoming events for the clubhouse and other facilities.

  • Community Engagement:
    - Facilitate monthly newcomer presentations to introduce new residents to the community and its amenities.

    - Build positive relationships with residents, actively seeking and incorporating their feedback into marketing strategies.

    - Develop initiatives that encourage resident participation and foster a strong sense of community.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, demonstrating event coordination and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong ability to engage with the community.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • This position operates in an office, clubhouse, and outdoor settings.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
