Job Summary:

The Department of Radiology at Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our team. As a faculty member, you will provide sub-specialized imaging interpretations for assigned modalities in support of referring physicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Radiology
  • Maintain professional relationships with Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, and Cardiology
  • Develop a scholarly/research portfolio with evidence of multi-disciplinary applications
  • Provide high-quality imaging interpretations for assigned modalities

Requirements:

  • ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination
  • Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Radiology
  • Eligibility for a Virginia medical license and permanent employment in the USA
