We are looking for a skilled Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Administrator to enhance our IT department. The successful candidate will oversee the administration, upkeep, and support of our Oracle EBS applications. This position demands a comprehensive knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture, its various modules, and integration processes, along with exceptional technical and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation and Configuration: Set up, configure, and manage Oracle E-Business Suite applications, ensuring optimal environment setup and maintenance.
- Patching and Upgrades: Implement patches, updates, and upgrades to maintain the security and currency of Oracle EBS applications, including planning and executing upgrade initiatives.
- User Management: Oversee user accounts, roles, and permissions within Oracle EBS, ensuring robust access control and security protocols.
- Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Continuously monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to enhance the efficiency of Oracle EBS applications.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert technical support for Oracle EBS applications, diagnosing and resolving issues related to functionality, performance, and integration.
- Backup and Recovery: Establish and manage backup and recovery processes for the Oracle EBS environment, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Integration: Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate Oracle EBS with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that Oracle EBS applications adhere to company policies and regulatory standards, implementing security best practices to safeguard sensitive information.
- Training and Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate training and support for end-users and IT staff, sharing knowledge and best practices within the team.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in managing Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 modules or higher, with experience in Oracle applications and familiarity with Oracle EBS architecture and technologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capability to work independently and collaboratively, and keen attention to detail.
- Certifications: Oracle E-Business Suite certification is advantageous.
- Additional Knowledge: Experience with Oracle Cloud applications and middleware technologies such as Oracle Fusion Middleware. Project management experience in leading upgrade or implementation projects is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to carry and transport professional materials.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. as necessary.
- Frequent communication and visual acuity required.
