Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Sonesta Hotels. As a Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Balance and audit room revenue, food and beverage revenue, and telephone revenue for accuracy.
  • Prepare and transmit daily management/accounting reports with supporting documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues.
  • Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services.
  • Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures.
  • May book guest reservations, process cancellations, and revisions.
  • Follow the overall seasonal demand reservation strategy.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mathematical skills, including basic math, percentages, and variances.
  • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities.
