Contract Role

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will focus on supporting our Wet Clean Optimization (WCO) service, which is crucial for maintaining semiconductor capital equipment. Responsibilities will include developing video procedures, validating mechanical fixtures, and conducting user acceptance testing for service software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute significantly to the design and delivery of services to our esteemed clients.
  • Implement and maintain effective solutions while collaborating with field support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Engage in a rapidly growing division, offering substantial opportunities for professional growth.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of advanced etch and deposition hardware.
  • Manage timelines and logistics for new WCO service products.
  • Conduct technical assessments for new maintenance procedures and respond to customer change requests.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to clarify maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with media experts to create engaging multimedia procedures.
  • Optimize specialized maintenance procedure structures and media formats for customer-focused packages.
  • Lead a team to produce instructional videos and animations that elucidate maintenance procedures.
  • Design and evaluate hardware testing for maintenance support, providing feedback to engineering teams.
  • Test and validate new software applications and features, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Present project updates and outcomes to management in various settings.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience in mechanical design and CAD (NX/Creo preferred, Solidworks acceptable).
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a thorough approach to project execution.
  • Ability to author technical documents effectively.
  • Self-starter with the capability to work independently.
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor equipment operations and maintenance.
  • Experience with version control and document management systems.
  • Knowledge of agile software development, particularly in C++ or similar languages.
  • Proficiency in VBA, MATLAB, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with filming and video editing software is advantageous.
  • Graphic design and photography skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with 3D animations and CAD optimization is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation for this contract position will be determined based on market conditions and the candidate's relevant experience.
