Position Summary:
LDR Advisory Partners is seeking a dynamic and self-driven Remote Sales Consultant for a prominent manufacturer of motorcycle seats and accessories. This company, renowned for its commitment to quality and American craftsmanship, specializes in a diverse range of products designed to enhance the motorcycle riding experience for enthusiasts globally.
We are looking for a motivated individual who excels in a commission-only, 1099 contractor role. The ideal candidate will have excellent sales and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational capabilities. Success in this position will be determined by the ability to generate revenue through telephonic sales efforts, including lead generation, prospect outreach, and maintaining relationships with both existing and potential clients. Key attributes for this role include integrity, teamwork, vision, and passion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealer Relationship Management: Cultivate and promote assigned dealer relationships to meet quality, pricing, and volume goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Nurture existing client relationships while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Sales Outreach: Conduct follow-up calls to potential and existing clients to cross-sell and up-sell products.
- Prospecting: Reach out to prospective clients to understand their needs and establish supplier relationships.
- Lead Conversion: Handle incoming unsolicited inquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Performance Monitoring: Address underperforming dealers and ensure regular follow-ups to meet company objectives.
- Objection Management: Navigate technical and business objections from potential clients.
- Product Demonstrations: Offer product demonstrations to qualified clients upon request.
- Quotations and Orders: Provide pricing and credit terms, and prepare sales orders.
- Order Management: Secure and process orders, considering delivery timelines and inventory levels.
- Reporting: Generate business transaction reports and maintain customer data in the database.
- Data Analysis: Analyze dealer-specific data for efficiency and profitability, collaborating with Sales Management on necessary actions.
- Market Analysis: Monitor and report on market trends affecting dealers and retail, executing the annual sales strategy.
- Sales Growth: Drive sales growth within assigned accounts and prepare sales insights for clients.
- Customer Insights: Identify buying influences, budgets, and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts.
- Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed about competitive dynamics and market analysis.
- Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as assigned by Sales Management.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: 2-4 years of sales experience; experience in motorcycle parts and accessories is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with MAS 200 is a plus.
- Customer Service: Understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail in all tasks.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent planning and prioritization skills.
