Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Educational Environment

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team, focusing on providing essential therapy services within school settings. This role is pivotal in supporting students with speech, language, and communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment strategies that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions to enhance communication skills.
  • Educate students and their families on effective communication strategies and exercises.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to provide integrated care for students.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest practices in speech therapy.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience with a variety of student populations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A compassionate approach to therapy, prioritizing student well-being.
