Job Duties for Area Manager for Commercial Cleaning Services:

As an Area Manager for Commercial Cleaning Services, you will be responsible for providing support to janitors and porters within your assigned zone. This includes supervising cleaning associates, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Supervise all associates within designated zones, reporting any issues to the Customer Service team and Operations Manager as needed
  • Assist in hiring and training associates to ensure they meet company standards
  • Train associates on equipment and safety procedures
  • Visit customer locations to supervise associates and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Review work orders and ensure timely completion
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to associates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all supplies, equipment, and storage rooms are properly maintained
  • Meet with coworkers to resolve problems and issues
  • Send nightly reports and respond to emergencies
  • Manage cleaning supplies and company resources efficiently
