Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Arrowhead Products in Los Alamitos, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing a staff of employees in the maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment, buildings, and grounds while meeting budgetary objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program to ensure the integrity of machinery and equipment.
- Supervise electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, pipe fitting, carpentry, and janitorial activities to ensure the presence of all needed personnel, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Responsible for the layout and arrangement of plant and office spaces, and the determination of requirements for procurement, layout, and location of machinery and equipment.
- Responsible for the modification and repair of machinery and equipment, including electronic conversions, and scrapping machinery and equipment as required.
- Coordinate and contract for outside services for all building, grounds, equipment, and machinery requirements, including major overhauls and repairs.
- Recommend and assist in the justification of new plant support equipment and machinery, including the preparation of ARs on the equipment and machinery.
- Establish, maintain, control, and distribute cost records, usage records, preventative maintenance records, and other required records.
- Coordinate with various regulatory agencies and insurance companies during facilities inspections.
- Conduct energy surveys and recommend energy conservation projects.
- 10-14 years' experience with a BA, 8-12 years' experience with an MBA.
- Green Belt certification preferred but not required.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
- Lift up to 35 lbs.
- Push and pull 35 lbs.
- Bend occasionally.
- Sit, stand, and walk frequently.
- Talk and listen frequently.
