Janitorial Team Lead

ABM Industries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our janitorial staff and ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all facilities-related issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide training and guidance to janitorial staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a facilities or janitorial setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds or more and stand for long periods of time.
