Position Overview


We are seeking a skilled
RN Administrator to oversee our hospice operations. This role is pivotal in utilizing your leadership skills to create a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.


Our leadership team is among the finest in the industry, emphasizing clinical excellence, outstanding patient care, and employee satisfaction as core values that guide our daily operations.

As an
Administrator, you will report to the Assistant Vice President of Operations and manage the daily functions of your designated hospice location.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing patient admissions to hospice services, ensuring a seamless and efficient process, and coordinating ancillary services to enhance patient care.

Furthermore, you will supervise and evaluate hospice staff and volunteers, ensuring effective communication among all team members and leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with standards set by regulatory and accrediting agencies.
  • Develop and implement relevant policies and procedures.
  • Manage human resources effectively, fostering positive communication and staff engagement.
  • Oversee training and continuing education for employees and volunteers.
  • Supervise interdisciplinary team members, ensuring performance goals are met.
  • Manage office operations efficiently, including documentation and patient care quality.
  • Handle financial resources prudently, ensuring budget adherence and expense monitoring.

Qualifications

Education:
Registered Nurse with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, and a Master's degree in business, nursing, or a related field is a plus.

Experience:
At least one year of management or supervisory experience is required, along with two or more years in hospice or home care settings. Three years of direct patient care experience in a clinical environment is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:
Current nursing license in the state of employment is required, along with CPR certification and valid driver's license.
