About the Role:

The System One Housing Choice Voucher Program Director will oversee the management and administration of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This executive-level position will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the development and implementation of program strategies, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and government agencies, to ensure effective program operations.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on program operations, including resource allocation, budgeting, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement a reporting structure to track program performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Enforce HUD regulations, SFHA's Administrative Plan, and contractual obligations to ensure program integrity.
  • Ensure excellent customer service to program participants, including timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Lead and oversee the development of work plans, resource allocation, and program operations to ensure program success.
  • Provide effective leadership and oversight of the monthly reporting deliverables, including narrative reports and scorecard responses.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the HCV program, including intake, waitlist management, inspections, annual reexaminations, and data analytics and reporting.
  • Awareness of federal, state, and local regulations governing the management and maintenance of the HCV program, including 24 CFR 982 and 983.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Master's Degree preferred; Bachelor's Degree required in social work, business, public administration, or closely related field.
  • Three years of broad and progressively responsible public, social, or human services management experience.
  • Knowledge of public sector housing authority programs.
