Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and optimize racing simulators for optimal functionality.
- Promptly troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Record maintenance activities and implement preventive measures.
- Install and update simulation software.
- Upgrade hardware components as needed.
- Collaborate with developers to address compatibility and implement improvements.
- Provide technical support for electronic systems.
- Assist guests in understanding simulator operations.
- Address technical concerns promptly to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Conduct briefings on simulator usage and safety.
- Conduct regular quality checks on racing simulations.
- Implement improvements based on guest feedback.
- Work with other technicians, vendors, and developers to stay informed about simulator technology advancements.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss projects, challenges, and improvements.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
- Conduct routine safety checks on simulators and report issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintaining electronic and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with racing simulators or gaming technology preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Basic knowledge of software installation and updates.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift over 50 lbs.
Bonus Skills:
- Windows 10 troubleshooting.
- Remote Desktop knowledge.
- Experience with rFactor 2 and similar racing hardware.
- Familiarity with JIRA Service Desk, Datto, ServiceNow, Notion, and Teams.
