Job Overview

Medix is a leading employment agency seeking an experienced Clinical Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payment and collection process for agency-billed claims, working closely with the back-end claim processing and denial reconciliation teams.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of medical billing experience, with a strong understanding of full-cycle billing processes, including aging, denials, submittals, rejections, and accounts receivable (AR). They will be able to analyze complex billing data and identify areas for improvement, as well as develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and quality standards.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining productivity and quality standards, serving as a departmental expert in contracted payer policies, reimbursement, and requirements.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, 8:00am to 4:30pm, or 8:30am to 5:00pm. The hourly rate is between $20 to $23 per hour.
