About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Lyons Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management
    • Direct and manage a team of front-of-house staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
    • Oversee the implementation of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Manage the restaurant's inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
    • Oversee the purchasing and ordering process, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
    • Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring efficient staffing levels and scheduling.
    • Manage the restaurant's financial operations, including reviewing and approving invoices and reconciliations.
  • Customer Service and Quality
    • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, meeting our high standards of quality and hospitality.
    • Monitor and address any customer complaints or issues, ensuring prompt resolution and follow-up.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with senior management, staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information exchange.
    • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, events, and human resources, to ensure seamless operations and guest experience.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, with a focus on quality, service, and profitability.
    • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor laws, and financial management.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on guest satisfaction and employee engagement.
