About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Lyons Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management
- Direct and manage a team of front-of-house staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee the implementation of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Operations and Administration
- Manage the restaurant's inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
- Oversee the purchasing and ordering process, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring efficient staffing levels and scheduling.
- Manage the restaurant's financial operations, including reviewing and approving invoices and reconciliations.
- Customer Service and Quality
- Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, meeting our high standards of quality and hospitality.
- Monitor and address any customer complaints or issues, ensuring prompt resolution and follow-up.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with senior management, staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information exchange.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, events, and human resources, to ensure seamless operations and guest experience.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, with a focus on quality, service, and profitability.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor laws, and financial management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on guest satisfaction and employee engagement.
