Work Environment:
This position is situated within a skilled nursing facility, characterized by a controlled climate and a moderate noise level. The role may involve exposure to infectious conditions, necessitating adherence to safety protocols.
Physical Requirements:
Successful performance of this role requires the ability to engage in various physical activities, including frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Vision capabilities should include close, distance, and peripheral vision.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with graduation from an accredited nursing program. A valid LPN registration in the state is essential, complemented by certification in pharmacology. Completion of state Board of Nursing approved training and current AHA Healthcare Provider training (BCLS) is also necessary. A minimum of one year of experience in a skilled nursing or medical/surgical setting is preferred.
