Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Professional to join our comprehensive hematology and oncology team at our Uniontown location. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive and individualized care for patients and their families in the infusion center and ambulatory setting.
  • Complete daily rounds, consults, and pre-treatment evaluations in the infusion center and ambulatory clinics.
  • Perform and communicate results of diagnostic tests following established clinical guidelines and scope of practice.
  • Consult and communicate with clinic and hospital staff regarding abnormal findings in patient evaluations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive individualized plans of care for hematology/oncology patients.
  • Participate in physician rounds, patient education, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with other leaders and staff to achieve patient outcome-based improvements in care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a CCNE-accredited nursing program with a Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • National Certification by a recognized APRN Certification Center.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in West Virginia.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification with additional Advanced Life Support training as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • OCN or AOCN certification.
  • Master's level degree as a Physician Assistant.
